    • 1 pkg. yeast
    • 1 1/2 c. water
    • 3/8 c. sugar
    • 3/8 c. shortening, melted
    • 1 egg
    • 6 Tbsp. powdered milk
    • 5 c. flower
    • 1 tsp. salt
    1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Add melted shortening and beaten egg. Add flour, powdered milk and salt; mix thoroughly.
    2. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double.
    3. Work down and roll to 1/4-inch thickness. Brush with butter, sprinkle with Cinnamon Mix (see recipe below) and roll up lengthwise. Cut into 12 (2 1/2-inch) rolls. Place on greased tray; let rise until double.
    4. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20-25 min.
    5. Brush with powdered sugar glaze (1/2 box powdered sugar combined with 1/4 c. melted butter and enough water or milk to give it a spreading consistency).

    • 1/2 c. white sugar
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon.
