My wife and I used to go to Big Bend about once a month. We've been on nearly every dirt road out there.
On one of my outings, I caught this horse drinking out of the Rio Grande from a hillside on the U.S. side of the river.
It doesn't look like it, but the horse is in Mexico. I was sitting on a hillside near Boquillas Canyon Trail, about 5 miles downriver from Boquillas. The river curves back to the left in the picture and crosses just in front of the hill I was on.
